Introduction - a Cavendish corporate golf day
The Cavendish company golf day event management service has one major objective – to plan, organise and fulfil a high quality, cost-effective golf day allowing you and your colleagues the opportunity to mix with your guests and enjoy the day. Our service includes a range of services which can be tailored to meet your objectives and budget.
Choosing the course
Choosing the course that meets your objectives is almost certainly the most critical decision. The course must be a fair test (not too easy/not too difficult) for the players attending your event.
Budget, particularly nowadays, plays a vital part in the decision – some the well-known championship courses are very expensive, with very high green fees, so you may prefer one of the many less-expensive but nevertheless enjoyable lesser known courses.
The locality also plays a part. For example, do not ask guests to undertake a
long drive home after a hard day on the course!
Our team can help guide you to the right course!
Our favourite courses
Our Sales Director, Philip Driver's favourite courses include Moor Park (Hertfordshire), Hillside (Southport), Woburn (Bedfordshire). Fox Hills (Surrey), The RAC Club (Surrey), The Forest of Arden (Coventry) and Stoke Poges (Berkshire).
Invitations and itineraries
Our service includes invitation services and the provision of personalised itineraries detailing the course location, timings for the day, dress-code and the likely finishing time of the event.
The playing format
It is sometimes difficult to decide on the format for the day. You may be looking for 18 holes, 27 or even 36 during the day. You may even consider an informal summer evening event with just 9 holes and a nice dinner. Allow us to advise on the playing options together with some novel play formats including Foursomes, Greensomes, Texas Scramble and many other amusing options.
Administration and catering
All the administration of the day will be handled by our team including liaison with the course about tee-off times, catering, drinks and private room hire. Presentation dinners especially need to be well-planned, organised and rehearsed. You may require speeches and a prize-giving ceremony. All this needs to be planned with meticulous precision.
The playing order is vital and needs to be agreed prior to event day. The score-cards will be meticulously completed ready for the players' arrival.
Additional extras
Should you require personalised golf balls and tees, branded merchandise and prizes these can be arranged subject to your requirements.
Full costing of the event
Once all these decisions have been made, the numbers of players decided, Cavendish will provide you a fully costed proposal with no hidden extras. This will allow you to make the appropriate decision on whether to proceed.
Prices
Prices will vary according to the course, numbers of guests and your exact requirements. However prices can start as low as £100 + vat per person and reach over £1000 per person for a corporate golf event in Europe including flights and accommodation. However, a typical corporate golf event will cost between £200 and £300 per person (based on 20 players).
Event organisation on the day itself
When you arrive at the course, our team will be ready and welcoming. We will provide a cheery and friendly check-in, allocate the score cards and ensure the catering service is working perfectly. This will allow you and your colleagues to mix with the guest in the certain knowledge that everything is working perfectly.
Our careful service will continue throughout the day until we bid farewell to the last guests later in the day.
Our packages are flexible and can be designed to meet your budget and requirements.
