Client: A Major Engineering Company
Brief: To organise a weekend celebration for company employers and their partners, for approximately 120 guests. The weekend was to be ‘fun’ and something ‘different’, but needed to include a formal dinner followed by some form of ‘party’ on the Saturday evening. Accommodation and transfers were all to be included.
Response to Brief: Cavendish arranged a private charter of a replica 19th century Mississippi Paddle Steamer for a ‘dinner and dance’ on the Thames. Guests enjoyed a formal seated dinner with background music provided by a Celtic harpist. Further musical entertainment was provided by a 6 piece jazz band.
Overnight accommodation was provided in five star City Grange Hotel, near the Tower of London.
